Bulova Snorkel 'J' 666ft Super Waterproof Diver c.1967

$0.00

Of all of today’s highly desirable, commercially produced divers that Bulova manufactured, the Snorkel ‘J’ and corresponding (white dialed) Snorkel ‘K’ are up at the top of the list.

These 666ft-rated dive watches were the closest Bulova ever produced to the military + Blancpain Bathyscape/Fifty Fathoms style divers — outside of the prototype they submitted for military consideration. Beautifully laid out and with tons of lume on the dial, it’s not hard to see why these have become so collectible.

While most you’ll find out in the wild tend to be lacking in the overall condition category — that’s *if* you can actually find one — this example is a very worthy candidate for your consideration. No significant dial spotting, relumed hands, or drastic discoloration that reduces the attractiveness of the original design, plus no sizable bezel deficiencies. All in all, this is a fine example to add to your collection. Powered by one of Bulova’s classic and greatly produced motors —the 11ALAC automatic — you’ll have little to worry about on that front for years to come.

For those in the market, these are quite uncommon to run into, so once it’s gone there’s no guarantees when the next one will pop up — Pass up at your own risk!

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
